I have been breastfeeding my baby girl for about 14 months, however last month I skipped my period. so I decided to do an EPT Uncertainty pregnancy test, and it showed pregnant. Is there any way my HCG hormones could be affecting this or is this more than likely a positive pregnance test. any information is appreciated, thanks.

If I am currently breastfeeding, could make make a false positve on an ept pregnancy test? Please advise?

Can the foods you eat help determine the sex of your baby? You may be surprised to know that-yes it can. By eating the right foods you can change your body's natural ph and ultimately influence the gender of your next baby.

By eating the right foods you can lower your body's ph thus creating a more acidic vaginal environment and increasing the chance of conceiving that little baby girl you want.

You need to realize that it's the man's sperm that ultimately determines the gender of your baby. While the woman's egg always carries the (xx) chromosome (all girl) the man's sperm can carry the (xy) chromosome (produces a girl) or the (yy) chromosome (produces a boy.)

For the sake of simplicity, from here on, I will refer to the man's two different sperms as the "boy" sperm and the "girl" sperm.

Physically the two sperm differ in the fact that the boy sperm is smaller, faster, and weaker (tends to die off quicker.) The girl sperm is of course the larger, slower, and hardier of the two.

Keeping these differences in mind, and keeping your vaginal reproductive tract more on the acidic side, you can create an environment that the boy sperm will find survival very difficult. This leaves only the girl sperm left to fertilize the egg resulting in the baby girl you want. So eat foods that are acidic and avoid foods that are alkaline. Also you need to eat foods rich in calcium and magnesium, and avoid foods high in potassium.

Foods to eat when you want a girl are foods high in calcium like dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese) and magnesium (beans, legumes, leafy green vegetables) as well as highly acidic foods like some fruits (plums, prunes, cranberries) as well as corn, red meats, fish, and whole grains.)

Foods to avoid if you want a girl are alcohol and caffeine (coffee and chocolate) any foods high in potassium such as bananas, most vegetables, orange juice (yes, it's not as acidic as you may have thought) potatoes, spinach, and watermelon.

There is a much quicker way to change your vaginal ph, and that is by douching. I would suggest this route only while under your doctors supervision though, as douching has been known to cause vaginal infections.

Test your vaginal ph with test strips widely available either online or from your local health food store. Get in the habit of testing often so you can get a "feel" for when you are creating the proper ph. When you find out you're carrying a baby girl, all your hard work will be worth it!

If you are truly serious about having that little baby girl you want, you will need a guide to walk you through the entire process step by step. You can find these guides at my website, as well as other valuable insights in gender selection.

I truly hope you are successful in your gender selection efforts, but remember even if you fail you will still have a beautiful baby boy to love and nurture!

The Chinese Lunar Calendar is said to have been around for over 700 years now. Developed by a Chinese Scientist after years of research, many Chinese put a lot of faith in it's results, many Westerners aren't so sure. Whether you put much faith in it or not it can be a lot of fun, so just relax and enjoy it.

In order to get accurate results using the Chinese gender predictor, you need to understand the differences between the Chinese Lunar Calendar and the Gregorian Calendar used here in the west.

First off, you need to know the month of conception, now remember, we're talking about conception not the actual birth date. Many have gotten inaccurate results because of using the birth date and not the date of conception.

When trying to predict a babys gender using the calendar, you must inter the mother-to-be's date of conception. That's right, her month of conception using the Chinese Calendar and not the Gregorian Calendar used in the west.

In order to figure the mothers month of conception just add 9 months to her age, this should be when she was conceived. Also keep in mind that the Chinese New Year falls on a different date every year, somewhere between January22 and February 22.

You then simply find the month of conception and the age of the mother using the parameters above, follow the two columns till they intersect and if the square is blue it's a boy baby and if it's pink it's a girl baby.

You, of course, can find out (by way of an ultra-sound) if you will have a boy or girl in your seventh or eighth month, but if nothing else the Chinese Lunar Calendar is fun to try and you can use it on your other children or anyones children for that matter.

The Chinese Baby Calendar can be lots of fun to experiment with, but regardless of gender, you new baby is a gift and deserves to be loved and nurtured.
